A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for the historic hope plantation in windsor.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Historic Hope Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year for repairs at the historic Hope Plantation, the home of former North Carolina Governor David Stone.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
