A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to support the arthritis foundation.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to The Arthritis Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year to support the foundation's programs which serve the Charlotte area.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
