A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for the newbold‑white house in perquimans county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Perquimans County Restoration Association, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year for repairs at the historic Newbold‑White House, the oldest brick house in North Carolina.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
