A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to eliminate the option of straight-party ticket voting on ballots in north carolina.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 163-165.6(e) is repealed.

SECTION 2.  G.S. 163-182.1(a)(7) is repealed.

SECTION 3.  This act is effective when it becomes law and applies to elections held on or after January 1, 2014.
