Folklore Professor to Speak at N.C. Museum of History.
Generations of potters in our state have produced traditional utilitarian pieces of earthenware and stoneware. Come hear Charles Zug, retired professor of English and Folklore at UNC-CH and author of Turners and Burners: The Folk Potters of North Carolina discuss craftspeople and the development of the pottery industry in North Carolina. Admission is free.
