Beginning Jan. 2, state law (S.L. 2009-27) requires places that serve food and drink to go smoke-free. The NC Division of Public Health has just launched a new web site to help business owners and customers get information on the new law.
SmokeFree.NC.gov includes information about the law, proposed rules, frequently asked questions, tools for businesses to prepare for the change and much more.
