Senate Bill 561 (Session Law 2003-374), effective August 31, 2003, changes the notice given by appointing authorities of their appointments to State commissions, councils, committees or boards. The new law changes the information required in the notice of appointment, shortens the time for notification, and provides a form that may be used to comply with the notice requirements.
