America’s Legislators Back to School Program kicked off in September. Representative Rick Glazier led in school visits among all North Carolina legislators by visiting 20 schools in District 45, Cumberland County, between the dates of September 17 – October 31. He visited 4 high schools, 5 middle schools, 10 elementary schools, and 1 alternative elem/middle school. The program is emphasized as a bipartisan event. Sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Back to School Program is designed to teach young people what it is like to be a state legislator.

Since the kick off in September, a total of sixteen NC legislators have requested materials to take with them on school visits.
