The district plan for the North Carolina House of Representatives was last modified on June 11, 2009 by Session Law 2009-78. The law affected the 2003 NC House plan by reconfiguring districts 16 and 18 in Pender and New Hanover counties. The change was precleared by the U.S. Justice Department under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act on September 18th, 2009. The updated NC House plan was used for the 2010 elections. All items listed below are based on the General Assembly's 2011 redistricting database.
