Upcoming Library Class - Google News Alerts!

Have you ever needed to keep track of the latest news articles on your Senator or Representative, a developing story or maybe just a topic of interest?     Drop by the ISD Training Room (211 LOB) this Thursday, March 17th, between 2 and 3 and Russell Miles will show you how to set up a Google News Alert.
With just a few short steps, Google News Alert will automatically track stories from national, state and local newspapers on the topic you specify.  Once it’s set up you don’t have to do anything else.  Google will keep a lookout for articles and send them directly to you. There are no limits to the number of alerts you may establish. To stop receiving articles, simply unsubscribe and the alerts will stop.

***This is a drop in class - No sign-up is required***

Feel free to contact Russell in the Library at 733-9390 if you have any questions.  In case you can’t make the session, click here to view the class handout.
