NCpedia - the online encyclopedia of North Carolina’s history and culture is now expanding to include entries from two popular print sources by William S. Powell: The Encyclopedia of North Carolina and the multi-volume Dictionary of North Carolina Biography.  A partnership between the State Library of North Carolina and UNC Press will allow this new content to be added during the course of the next three years.  Check it out!

Celebrate Women's History Month!

President Obama recently issued a proclamation declaring March to be Women’s History Month.  The Proclamation highlights the contributions women have made to our Nation, and honors those who blazed trails for women's empowerment and equality.
