Overview: Sec. 12F.6 of S.L. 2016-94 clarifies that the Department of Health and Human Services must conduct the purge of information older than six years from the Controlled Substances Reporting System (CSRS) every quarter as required by statute and requires DHHS to maintain all information purged from CSRS in a separate database that may be released only as provided in statute.

This section became effective July 1, 2016.
