AN ACT TO FIX THE SAME RATE OF DISCOUNT FOR PREPAYMENT OF MUNICIPAL TAXES AS IS NOW FIXED FOR COUNTY TAXES BY CHAPTER 335, SESSION LAWS OF 1945, FOR MUNICIPALITIES IN THE COUNTY OF BLADEN.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The provisions contained in Subsections (1) and (6) of G. S. 105-345 shall not apply to municipalities in Bladen County.

Sec. 2. Should any taxpayer in any municipality in Bladen County desire to make a prepayment of his municipal taxes, he may do so only by making payment to the Tax Collector of said municipality, and he shall be entitled to the following discounts: Two per cent (2%) if paid on or before the first day of October; one per cent (1%) if paid on or before the first day of November.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
