AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE SUFFICIENT FUNDS WITH WHICH TO EMPLOY A RESCUE SQUAD INSTRUCTOR.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  In addition to all other appropriations made at the 1961 Session of the General Assembly, there is hereby appropriated to the Department of Insurance of North Carolina out of the General Fund of the State the sum of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1961, and ending June 30, 1962, and the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1962 and ending June 30, 1963, to be expended by and under the direction of the Commissioner of Insurance to provide for the salary, necessary equipment and travel expenses of an employee who shall be assigned duties as a rescue squad instructor and such other duties as the Commissioner of Insurance may designate and direct.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective from and after its ratification.
