AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUNDS AT NORTH CAROLINA STATE COLLEGE IN ORDER TO PERMIT COMPLETION AND EQUIPPING OF A NEW CAFETERIA AT SAID INSTITUTION.

 

WHEREAS, it has been found that Capital Improvement Funds heretofore appropriated for a new college cafeteria at North Carolina State College fail by the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) to meet the cost of completing and equipping said building; and

WHEREAS, savings effected by the College in the extension of its steam and hot water supply lines will exceed the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00): Now, therefore,

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  The Director of the Budget is hereby authorized to transfer from Capital Improvement Appropriation Code 65927, Item 2a, made to North Carolina State College, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) and to add such sum to Capital Improvement Appropriation Code 65972, Item 3, of said institution for the purpose of providing the funds necessary to complete and equip the new cafeteria at said institution.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be effective from and after its ratification.
