A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT TO CHANGE THE MANNER OF ELECTION OF THE CHARLOTTE-MECKLENBURG BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE MECKLENBURG COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  The manner of election of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education is changed.

Sec. 2.  This act applies in Mecklenburg County only.

Sec. 3.  This act is effective upon ratification.
