A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to be used toward the capital costs of converting an existing log building located in dupont state forest into a visitors' center for dupont state forest.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.   There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Division of Forest Resources, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for the 2005-2006 fiscal year and the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for the 2006-2007 fiscal year to be used toward the capital costs of converting an existing log building located in DuPont State Forest into a visitors' center for DuPont State Forest.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2005.
