A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to allow wineries to sell wine, for consumption on or off premises, in localities where no abc election has authorized the sale of wine.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. G.S. 18B-1101(6) reads as rewritten:
"(6) SellRegardless
of the results of any local wine election, sell the wine manufactured by
the winery or produced under the winery's label under subdivision (2a) of this
section for on- or off-premise consumption at no more than three other locations
in the State, upon obtaining the appropriate permit under G.S. 18B-1001;".
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
