A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to officially designate senate bill 140, Session law 2010-5, as "bonnie's law."

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Article 52 of Chapter 1 of the General Statutes, as added by S.L. 2010-5, is amended by adding a new section to read:

"§ 1-621. Short title.

This Article shall be known and may be cited as "Bonnie's Law.""

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
