A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT extending the authority of certain boards of county commissioners over local boards, agencies, and commissions.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 153A-77(f) reads as rewritten:

"(f)       This section applies to coastal counties with a population in excess of 200,000 and to other counties with a population in excess of 425,000."

SECTION 2.   This act is effective when it becomes law.
