RATIFIED BILL

AN ACT to establish a season for the taking of foxes and coyotes in surry county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, there is an open season for taking foxes and coyotes with lawful weapons or traps from October 15 through March 1 of each year.

SECTION 2.  No season bag limit applies to foxes and coyotes taken under this act.

SECTION 3.  This act applies only to Surry County and Alleghany County.

SECTION 4.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
