S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Sec. 11H.15 of S.L. 2017-57 requires the Department of Health and Human Services to enhance the capability of the NC Tracks Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse prior to the payment of claims. The new capability must be implemented using existing MMIS contracts no later than 150 days after the effective date of this section.

This section became effective June 28, 2017.
