S99 - Appropriations Act of 2018. (SL 2018-5)

Overview: Sec. 7.13 of S.L. 2018-5 extends the pilot program for two virtual charter schools for an additional four years. The pilot was scheduled to end in 2018-2019, and is extended to the 2022-2023 school year. Reports on findings from the pilot program by the State Board of Education to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee are also extended, with a report on findings from five years of operation of the pilot program due by November 15, 2020, and a report on findings from seven years of operation of the pilot program due by November 15, 2022.
